The Climate Cent Foundation’s Buildings Programme was phased out at the end of 2009. It is succeeded by the Swiss Confederation’s and the Cantons’ national Buildings Programme. Since January 2010, applications may be submitted at www.dasgebaeudeprogramm.ch.
Status
The Buildings Programme focused on the energy renovation of existing buildings’ envelopes, i.e. roofs, walls and windows. Within the framework of this programme, 8’578 projects had been supported with a total of 186 million Swiss Francs. By December 2010, 7'059 projects had been completed and 136 million Swiss Francs had been paid out. Over the period 2008 to 2012, contracted projects will reduce 237'000 tonnes of CO2 emissions at an average price of 785 Swiss Francs per tonne of CO2.
