The Foundation entered into direct contact with various project owners who were selling certificates stemming from projects that were either ongoing or in development. Projects were examined by the Foundation, which assessed them for high quality and irreproachability.

 

Status

The Foundation has concluded 5 project agreements in total. The projects stem from the fields of biomass, biogas, transportation, agriculture and wind power. Overall, the Foundation expects them to yield around 976’000 tonnes of CO2 emissions reductions. 448'700 tonnes have already been transferred to the Foundation’s account in the National Emissions Trading Registry.
